Milton Country Park Walk
Friday, 14 February 2020 from 10:30-12:30
St Valentine was the patron saint of beekeepers (among other things) - I wonder if we will manage to spot any bees on our walk today! We will be taking a gentle stroll around this varied country park, through grassland, woodland and wetland areas. We saw a kingfisher on our last visit, so fingers crossed!
Length: 2 miles (3 km)
Terrain: surfaced paths, footpaths
What we might see: kingfisher, mute swan, gadwall, teal, great spotted woodpecker, green woodpecker, jay
Meet: Outside Grounds cafe
Parking: Milton Country Park CP, £3.50 parking charge
Dogs: allowed but on leads only in certain areas (check website)
Optional coffee afterwards: Grounds cafe (in the park)
